Jason Duong I came in for a general clean and scaling, followed by a filling for a deep cavity. Upon my first visit, the reception and broader clinical staff were warm and welcoming. Before the actual procedure, Sharon (and Dr Arik and the supporting staff) patiently listened to me as I explained my dental history and clearly addressed my questions ensuring that I was comfortable before going ahead with anything. Met with empathy and genuine care, it was very relieving (especially given my less than pleasant experiences with other dentists). She took the time to provide her guidance and express her understanding. It demonstrated the level of compassion that she puts into her work. You’d seldom find this at other dental clinics. During and after the procedure, it is entirely evident that you are in capable hands. The staff articulate each and every step, they put in extensive effort in maintaining the patient’s comfort as best as they can, and they are amazingly efficient. The team is excellent. I will be booking in my next bi-annual check up and am actually looking forward to returning to the dentist. This is ALL thanks to the team at Dickson Street Dental.

Wendy D I brought my elderly mother to see William in June 2024 after she broke her front tooth. We were keen to find out if Mt Waverley Smiles would be able to repair it with a post and dental filling. William confirmed that this would be possible. In one single session lasting only 1.5 hours William was able to successfully restore my mothers tooth. He and his assistant Vanessa worked quickly and efficiently and made my mother feel very comfortable throughout. The result was a very natural-looking tooth which my mother is delighted with. Marty Having lived close to half a century I’ve been to many dentists in the past. Some a bit rough and one particularly with same jokes on every visit (sigh). My recent visits with the new dentist Dr. Scarlett has been the most pleasant. She is gentle during regular check up and cleaning. Thorough on filling and polishing. Her work on replacing my old fillings and the amount of care she took to make sure my teeth bite together comfortably was beyond this world. TV Star I am so grateful to Dr Tran for taking such excellent care of my teeth. My cleaning was thorough and completely painless. Bofeng Wu My story is like this: before I came to this dental clinic, I was a customer from another one. My former dental clinic made the dental examination extremely miserable (physically, mentally, and financially). Then I changed to this one and I did not know things can be this EASY!!! -The dentist from here only recommends the ESSENTIAL things I need to do. No other products & new things marketing. - EFFECTIVE. Cleaning+ deep cleaning in one session, around 45 minutes. (My former one made it into three sessions and the cost was insanely expensive. ) - GREAT COMMUNICATION. The receptionists， nurses, and dentists only focus on the service you need. All of them are great communicators. - MARVELOUS CULTURE: You saw cute doggies photos from the reception. And one of my dentists walls is filled with cute pictures and also a poem. The first line was: You are braver than you think. These little things are really helpful to release anxiety. If you need a dental group gets things done, I think this is a great option.

Ive always had a fear of dental treatments from a traumatic childhood experience but feel safe and comfortable with Dr Ornella and wont see anyone else, shes done fillings and extractions for me. I took my 14yr old to remove 3 teeth for braces and Liz was so reassuring and caring and helped/talked her through the whole process. Thank you Liz!! Dr Sun did the extractions and everything went well. This clinic is amazing and I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed! Cathy Wang Review Today was my first visit to this clinic since my regular dentist is on holiday, and I urgently needed to address pain in a tooth I previously had filled, along with swelling in my gums. I had initially booked an appointment with Dr. Lisa. However, upon arriving, I was seen by a male doctor instead, whose name I couldn’t find on the clinic’s website afterward. From the conversation between the doctor and the nurse, it was clear this was their first time working together, which left me feeling uneasy. The doctor examined my teeth and claimed that my gums were not swollen or inflamed. He then checked the filling in my tooth and mentioned that it was too close to the nerve and not sealed properly. He provided me with three options: redo the filling, undergo a root canal, or leave it untreated. I opted to redo the filling. At that point, the doctor also pointed out that I hadn’t had a dental cleaning in a long time, which he said had caused some gum inflammation. He recommended I get a cleaning, and since I was already under anesthesia, I agreed in hopes it would alleviate my discomfort. What I need to emphasize is that his cleaning technique was extremely rough! It was so harsh that, while I admit it’s been a year since my last cleaning, this was by far the most painful and unpleasant experience I’ve ever had. Compared to previous cleanings I’ve undergone, this one was unbearable. Afterward, the swelling and pain I had before worsened significantly. Throughout the procedure, the doctor repeatedly suggested further treatments and spent a lot of time chatting casually with the nurse. While this might be normal for some, I’ve never experienced this with my previous dentist, and it felt unprofessional. Overall, this visit left me very disappointed and in even more discomfort than before.

However… Adult with crossbite and was offered a full braces solution for 2 years almost $9k was quite unexpected A couple of more advanced technologies were not mentioned so assumed they don’t offer. Consultation $90 and you have to do your scans elsewhere. Went to another local orthodontist and got everything done within a day and services that meet my need and expectations.

Christie Brewster I have been a patient at Mount Waverley Orthodontics for the past nine months, undergoing orthodontic treatment as a mature age patient. The reception staff are warm and welcoming. Dr. Chia Ling Chou is a highly professional and studious orthodontist, demonstrating understanding and consideration throughout my treatment process. Having been presented with options for either clear or metal braces, it was specified that the process could take anywhere from 12 to 24 months. So far, the overall experience has been streamlined, and despite being my second time with braces (first was when I was very young, and not with Dr. Chou), Dr. Chous approach has remained consistently professional. Prior to treatment, scans were recommended to ensure a thorough understanding of my dental condition. In the dental chair, my check-ups are every six weeks and conducted with a sense of comfort and ease. Dr. Chou and the team maintain a balance of professionalism while engaging in lighthearted conversations, often joking about colourful bands. I, personally, opt for white bands to minimise visibility, and I am pleased with the progress I have witnessed in the alignment of my teeth thus far. Overall, my experience at Mount Waverley Orthodontics has been considered and professional, and I am grateful for the positive changes in my dental health under Dr. Chous care.

You will receive the most professional and intuitive treatment from Dr Chou and her staff will make you smile so hard you may break your bands! Given the amount of visits a normal course of Orthodontic treatment takes, if youre not spending Christmas with at least one of the staff then it will be a summer holiday in Rosebud! I cannot fault any part of their service and professionalism and am forever grateful that neither of my children can eat an apple through a picket fence anymore!

Jimmy Holster Have absolutely zero idea how this place got some downvotes. Dr Anu and Dr Kris have been nothing but consummate professionals. Our 7yo daughter needed a tooth removed and the entire time, Dr Kris was communicating to us about all of our options going forward. Nothing was too much trouble. The extraction was a resounding success and our daughter didnt even notice! - they are that good. I wish I had dentists like this when I was growing up, I wouldnt have as big a phobia as I do now if it were the case. The last thing I would want would be for my daughter to get a phobia of dentists like I do. Price was also more than reasonable too. 100% will be going back! Thanks!

Local Business Gplus My family has been going here since before I was born. Dr King is very friendly and professional in his service. The rooms are clean and the odd sticker on the lamp distracts me every time. They still do many of the administration process manually with a computer but this doesnt affect the service that is given. I have moved to his son at the Glen Waverley clinic

Ti Wi Sometimes this dentist would ask me to open my mouth wider, more wider, wider still..seriously, theres only so wide I can open it! Then both my wife and I were told our molars were developing minor cracks due to "chewing on gum". I was also told I was "close to getting root canals" - two second opinions, elsewhere, said neither of these statements were true. I went there for a few years, but I prefer the previous owner.

I will never forget the pain he put me through, literally lifting me out of the chair each time he tested every tooth in my mouth. Interestingly a friend of mine visited Dr Goldman and had the exact same experience. Avoid this butcher at all costs.

Monica I’m so glad my dentist referred me to Dr Goldman for a second opinion. He is just fantastic and looked after me extremely well, explained everything clearly, and has a lovely manner. He makes you feel comfortable and in good hands, even for someone like me who is nervous about dental procedures. His dental nurse and the receptionist at Armadale are also both so lovely and helpful. He went above and beyond to fit my husband in for an emergency and we are beyond grateful, as he was in a lot of discomfort. Despite fitting us in between appointments, he didn’t make us feel rushed or burdensome. Daniel Sutherland VERY RUDE and condescending tone of voice and manner, does not like to be asked even a simple clarification question and talks down to you with a condescending and impatient tone, thus I cannot for the life of me understand how select others have stated his helpfulness. He was completely unwilling to accept a patients communication of a pre-existing throat issue, instead taking it as a personal questioning of his credentials and experience which I post consult call into question. He was pre-told the chair head position would be a problem yet rejected any request to adjust it, with a rude comment instead about how much I was talking, despite all my discussion being ONLY about the specifics of my condition. He forced me to swallow residual mouthwash despite a request to simply spit some more out, causing me to cough and splutter EXACTLY as I warned him would occur and without apology when it happened, in the opposite, huffing and puffing about his time being taken up. He then had the nerve to further condescend me about my supposed anxiety in relation to the very pain I consulted him about. Absolutely DISGUSTING way of managing a patient with a complex dental history and do not trust his opinion, will be seeking another due to ongoing issues. AVOID THIS MANS SERVICES AT ALL COSTS, not worth either the cost or the utter arrogance he exposes you to.

MrBMWF30 Told me that I must go back to review my implant after I said it’s fine. And than charged me for the review which only took 5 mins. More sales than dentist. Stay away.

Operations Computer Jason does a fine job of both initial rectification of my gum disease, and the 6 monthly clean that helps me keep my own teeth instead of getting implants etc. Sure, he charges a lot but I would too if I was good at my job and saved my clients thousands. Some people would rather spend no money on their only set of teeth so they can buy a 2nd hand BMW haha
