Asraar Shouted at, mocked, refused service, and told to ‘just buy a clasp elsewhere’ utterly humiliating experience. ⁉️ On 22nd August 2025, around 11 AM, I visited the Prouds Highpoint store with receipts, invoices, and photos regarding a necklace I had purchased. The clasp had broken again; the same fault previously repaired by Prouds. I followed their official policies and even offered to pay for repairs. Instead, I was shouted at, mocked, refused service, and publicly humiliated. The staff member (approx. 70+, short dark hair) refused to provide her name, dismissed my necklace as “just a hollow $400 chain,” and told me to “go outside and look at the store number” when I asked for the manager’s contact details. She also refused to send the necklace to Prouds’ worksmiths as I had requested, instead telling me to “just buy another clasp elsewhere” and even proceeded to show me the clasp, despite my clear wish for the product to be properly repaired through head office. While other employees and patrons watched in shock, I very politely and asked the staff member to speak with me in a civil manner (a failed attempt). I left visibly shaken to avoid further chaos. This is not an isolated incident. The Highpoint store has a 3.0 Google rating (91 reviews), many describing the same rudeness, shouting, and dismissiveness I endured. Clearly, this is a recurring problem that Prouds corporate must urgently address. I have receipts, repair dockets, and photos of the faulty necklace and strongly encourage management to review CCTV footage from the date/time of this incident. I have also emailed Prouds customer service and contacted Scott Young, Regional Manager Victoria (JPL Group). No human being deserves to be treated this way.

Sophie Yeh Went there walk in ten mins, the staff make me and my husband like nobody or the air. Walk in front of us but just don’t want to service us. Very worse experience there. Would not recommend going to the store.

sania singh I’m absolutely appalled by the treatment I received from a sales assistant named Tuba at the Highpoint Swarovski store. Her behaviour was despicably rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. From the moment I approached her, she made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer. When I raised a concern about exchanging a bracelet that had not been used, she accused me of lying—insisting that a bit of dust in the clasp was somehow proof it had been worn. As anyone with basic common sense knows, dust is everywhere and can settle on anything. Her argument was not only ridiculous but served as an excuse to avoid providing decent customer service. The worst part? At the end of the interaction, she practically threw the bag at me, making it painfully clear that I was not welcome. It was demeaning and left me genuinely shocked. This is in stark contrast to every previous experience I’ve had at this same store. Staff like Natalia or Natasha (apologies for not remembering the exact name) have always been incredibly kind, respectful, and helpful — a stark reminder of how someone like Tuba is severely letting the team down. Thanks to her, I will no longer be shopping at Swarovski. It’s disappointing that one person can ruin the reputation of a brand I used to love. Swarovski should seriously re-evaluate the kind of attitude they allow on their sales floor.

Mia Leccadito Brought a piece into the highpoint store to get resized. Had a stuff member named Rebecca assist me. I was quite happy with my purchase and just wanted an adjustment. But she extremely rude and aggressive trying to get me to purchase other pieces that I did not want. Please retrain staff on customer service and even rethink who you choose to represent your store. For the high price of being a jewellery store it should be accompanied by decent customer service. Would not recommend

Alannah Evans My fiancé proposed to me in late March, and we went in to have the ring resized. Although the process felt quick, Donny did an excellent job sizing the ring. When we picked it up, I was quite anxious about the fit, but it was checked and fit well. The service was fantastic — we even received a follow-up text a couple of weeks later to make sure everything was up to standard and to offer a further adjustment if needed (which thankfully wasnt necessary). Rebecca Not happy with my experience today. I purchased a gift for a birthday. The bow was tied on the packaging poorly. No tissue paper. And why is everything black? Also, I was offered a gift receipt, but the sales assistant then forgot to print it. When I reminder her, she said that she couldn’t print a gift receipt anymore. Another person came out and printed a re-print of the receipt and then abruptly liquid papered out the price. But I can still see the price from behind the receipt! Overall the quality of service has gone downhill.

Reventon I had the privilege of being served by Chelsea who has outstanding customer service skills. She was very patient with me and was more than happy to offer product advice and recommendations. Venessa Christou TRIED TO STEAL MY MONEY! I went in to exchange a watch my husband purchased as i preferred another style. This was a $90 difference(being cheaper), The Lady who served me( Being an older lady with glasses and grey shoulder length hair) did not know i knew the right pricing from there website and tried to make the cheaper watch match the more expensive watch. When i voice my opinion regarding the price difference she basically made me feel cheap stating nothing in the store is worth the $90 and no point giving me my money back as apparently they only do store credit, as if i couldn’t afford anything else in the store. i asked for a gift voucher anyway as i was not going to let her keep my $90. She was very unpleasant not helpful at all even when i tried to be kind TO THE SALE LADY! I’m really disgusted in how i was treated and how she tried to make the price the same to not give me my money back. I like the watch but NEVER AGAIN will i purchase from this store.

Nadia Caruso I had a disappointing experience with Saleras Highpoint store ( Level 2) nearest to Kmart. I brought my item in for repair, but despite the fact that the repair was going to cost more than to purchase a new one. I did not proceed. They kept my deposit without this being stipulated on repair form. Deposit went towards courier cost. I found that very strange . Not to mention how rude and unhelpful in resolving the issue was Mrs Salara and sales person. The sales person was argumentatively answering back and also trying to hold my copy of the repair form. This experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I took the unrepaired item and left the store. I would advise others to be cautious before leaving a deposit. Also ensure the team all have the same communication. Unfortunately, you are forced to leave a deposit to send a repair away. If Mr Salera was still alive, he would have looked after me, like other times. I will never return to purchase any other jewellery. I am in customer service and would have helped to retain customer by offering to transfer $50 towards the purchase of a new watch. Clearly the team have no idea about building customer satisfaction, hence effecting a review rating/s.

Kacee Sheppard Bought a necklace and bracelet for as a birthday present for a 10y/o here on the 11th of July around 5pm. The staff member who helped me was really kind and took the time to wrap up the items and have a nice conversation with me, even though the store seemed busy she kept it professional and friendly! The products are also great, I’ve bought from here before and they have a great range for sensitive skin!

Lullabye Behrendt I had the best experience with Evita today, I was hoping to have a sentimental necklace repaired in person as the clasp had broken, after being told by every jeweller they could either send it away or were unable to help I felt extremely defeated. Cue me asking the lovely young woman with dark brown hair behind the counter if they were able to help, she immediately jumped up, offered to charge my phone whilst I waited and in less than 2minutes my chain was sparkly and looking brand new. She did all of this free of charge with a bright smile on her face, I am extremely impressed by the customer service and will definitely be back for any future repairs and gifts

B Sharma Very poor customer service. I met a very rude and unprofessional staff. Also, my necklace broke twice, poor quality. When I went in to get it fixed the lady was again very rude, saying I must have pulled the necklace, when that wasn’t the case. Absolutely disgusting service and poor quality products. I do not recommend this shop, do yourself a favour and keep away. Definitely zero stars.
