Alexa Petrucelli Kylie became my boxing teacher mid to late last year and I have loved every bit of it! Kylie made me feel extremely comfortable from the first session, and made me feel at home straight away. Although I had never boxed before, Kylie has made my confidence build up so quickly. Not only is she a fantastic trainer, but she brings a huge amount of knowledge and guidance to overall health and is amazing to speak to. From being in a position where I rarely trained, and didn’t do much exercise, I now look forward to my weekly class with Kylie with lots of excitement!

Ruby Bainbridge I have been training at Bobby Dunnes with Dave for nearly 3 years. I started off as a beginner, and Dave took me under his wing and has shown me the ropes of Boxing. Dave has fantastic knowledge and coaching skills. The sessions are always challenging and educational, with plenty of fun. The environment in the gym is great, there is a real sense of community amongst members and trainers. I always look forward to my weekly catch ups with Dave and other members!

Joey Lai CorePlus was my first ever experience for pilates. I was already working out at the gym at the time but I wanted to elevate my routine. But even then, pilates felt a bit intimidating for me as I went alone. But after going here and attending classes with almost every instructor, I could not feel more different. I love the team and how they are different. They allow me to challenge myself or to cut back depending on how I am feeling that day. I never feel judged or unsure of what to do. They are quick to notice but quiet and comfortable correct you. Also a lot of the instructors have a great playlist, often to match the pace. Definitely a bonus. I would highly recommend attending here if you are looking around.

Iva Izman Working out in the Hot Room is the BEST thing I have found for my mental health. My schedule revolves around my classes, not the other way round, thats how much the hot room means to me. The vibe at Preston is so welcoming. I have been to a few hot studios around but you guys are always super smiley, friendly and respectful. The heat forces you to switch off mentally on everything else and just focus on yourself because its all in the mind when youre in the hot room. You feel empowered in your own workout because the sweat, mentally, makes you work that extra hard! Halfway through class, you might feel like you regret life LOL but its the after feeling that will find you back for more. It is so so sooo addictive, I feel like a butterfly after every session and its definitely my happy place! Thank you Loiuse and the team!

Wyinta Mawson I attended a Dyke event hosted by Pony Club and I was so impressed by the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Even though I’m not a gym member (yet!), I immediately felt comfortable and supported from the moment I arrived. It was clear that Pony Club truly values the LGBTIQ+ community — the event was thoughtfully organized, full of positive energy, and created a real sense of connection among everyone there. The owner is clearly passionate about building a safe and uplifting space for all.

eRiN eNDeR Im in awe with the humans involved in motivating our daughter to go to a gym at all, but to hear her raving reports about the coach and other members is heartwarming. Its not just the financial support of our emerging adults that is next-level, its the social/ cultural leadership aspects that Ive never seen thrive so brilliantly at any other gym! Sharon Lettey Kole & Michael are both great trainers, super motivating and push you to do more (and thats what I want). Its a great vibe too (well, the music is sometimes questionable but Im a middle age woman) I only started a few weeks ago but by the end of my first week I felt like part of the community! Maeve is super helpful with nutrition. Michael is happy to share his wealth of knowledge with you. Dont hesitate, if its real training/results you want give this place a go.

Cam Phillips I’ve been training at ONT since 2021 and absolutely love it. The coaches are brilliant — supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping everyone improve. In particular, my most recent treatment session with Grace, who has been incredible in supporting me through a running-related injury. She took the time to explain the possible causes clearly, provided effective treatment, and guided me through practical options for long-term, home-based self-management. Her calm and reassuring approach really helped ease my worries, especially when I was anxious about the prognosis and how long I’d be off my running plan. I highly recommend Grace and the entire Balance North team for their professional and thoughtful care.

Sera Helen Very lucky to have stumbled across Elissa as a trainer for my first time in the gym. After getting bored of Pilates and not seeing much results for the work I was putting in a friend recommended checking out Deadlifts and Deathmetal and lucky for me it is fully sick. Elissa has taught me a lot over the year and a half or so I’ve been training with them in the semi private sessions. It is definitely overwhelming but they break it down into manageable chunks depending on where my heads at a the time so I feel like I’m constantly building on and progressing from what I’ve learned. Now I have a more holistic outlook on my approach to fitness. I love going to the gym and love the crew of people who also go to the sessions. Thats a testament to Elissa’s attitude and philosophy towards approaching training in creating such a great environment for sure. Thank you Elissa ;)

Kathryn Kassab Ive been coming here for 3 years and I honestly cant imagine a life without it! My arm balance classes each week are the highlight of my week. Shimi is an extremely knowledgeable and excellent coach. My journey with P&P has helped improve my mobility and strength and now Im doing things I previously didnt believe my body was capable of! I also LOVE the community. We are so encouraging and supportive of one another. 100% recommend P&P!

LHP64D For some context, I had been doing F45 for around 3 months and my partner was starting her fitness journey with Elissa when we joined Direction Strength. We went with the aim to work on our form, to build a foundation to help prevent injuries moving forward. When we met Elissa, we immediately got along well with her and she absolutely looked the part of a physical educator and trainer. Elissa took the time to get to know us, our past, injuries, limitations and goals moving forward. Once that was done, she started to assess our physical abilities and design some programs for each of us, but not rigid programs. Ones with flexibility. Frankly, shes a physical training specialist and educator. I learned so much while improving my form out of sight in the short while we trained with her. Id highly recommend Elissa to anyone. If youre a beginner, Elissa will train you right from the start. If youre already fit, Elissa can improve your form, or look into your dietary requirements and help fine tune that too (we learnt so much about food). Id even wager, if youre a professional, Elissa could help you a lot, as she has done bodybuilding competitively too. I would give her 11/10 if I could.
